Everything in Its Right Place (in your biz)
I’ve been returning to my meditation practice to help me feel steady during these trying times.
(It’s hard to feel steady while watching what feels like the fall of the Roman Empire.)
My therapist suggested meditating with music. So lately I’ve been putting on Everything in Its Right Place by Radiohead.
On days when I feel like I have no time, I give myself just those 4 minutes - to focus on everything being in its right place.
OK, now a flashback:
The end of last year / beginning of this year, my business blew up real quick - a little bit more quickly than I anticipated.
I took on too much client work.
I stopped networking. Stopped writing these emails. Stopped doing all the things inside my business… just to keep delivering for clients.
And eventually, I hit my wall.
The world was falling apart, and so was I.

Everything in its right place.
I know I know I know - I can’t put everything in its right place. I’m just one person.
Just like you’re just one person.
But what we can do is put some things in the right place inside our own selves.
And our own businesses.
Corporations and powers-that-be keep taking more and more and more from us, but I don't believe they can keep taking from us forever.
What if, instead, all of our little micro businesses were in their right places, thriving, and getting stronger every year?
So that together we’re showing up steady, ready, and clear?
