live from Vietnam + Japan! (mini-series)

I’m writing this blog series from a café in Vietnam 😍

But the past few weeks, I’ve been ALL THE WAY OOO in one of my favorite places on earth: Japan 🇯🇵

And while I was there, so many "aha" moments hit me, especially things I want to apply to my business.

(isn't that what vacations are for?!)

So this week, I’m sending you a short series on the things I absorbed in Japan that I think can elevate all of our businesses.

Here’s what I'm thinkin':

  • Why I never get lost in Japan → and how clarity makes clients feel held

  • Kindness + boundaries → and why both matter in business

🛑 A quick note

I’ve only ever experienced Japan as a tourist, and I do my best not to romanticize any country I don’t fully understand.

Every place has its pros and cons, and pretending otherwise turns a culture into a caricature instead of seeing the culture as something whole and real.

So I want to be very clear that this series isn’t “Japan is perfect!”

It might feel that way cuz I fangirl so hard when I am there 😭

It's more so: Damn, Japan does some things SO WELL, and I am taking NOTES.
