🤓my lead sources + their success rates
As part of my year-in-review, I take a look at my Relationship Database and all the juicy data I've been collecting all year - INCLUDING (and VERY importantly) where my leads have come from.
You always think you know where your leads are coming from until you start tracking :D
Tracking my leads allowed me to make important business decisions, like
Quitting Instagram
Which online communities to quit and to join
Leaning hard into my relationships.
This year I did something new with the results.
Usually, I just look at what brought in the most leads, and then do MORE OF THAT the next year.
This year, I took a closer look at my lost leads, compared those sources to my WON leads, and did some maths.
Here's what that looked like:
This helps me determiner the success rate of each lead source.
And then - I pondered those results.
HIGH Success Rate
🙌Networking in my favorite communities.
These leads tend to come in HOT - because often MULTIPLE people in said communities are tagging me and singing my praises.
I don't get lost in the comment section because the comment section is usually a chorus of past clients and biz besties all saying my name 😍
🙌Returning clients.
This one made me soooooo happy.
Clients coming back - even the ones who ultimately didn’t book again - tells me that folks who work with me trust me enough to come back again.
They remembered the experience and saw me as their go-to.
LOW Success Rate
⬇️ Referrals.
a LOT of people referred me this year, and not all of them converted.
But that DOESN'T mean I think less of my referral partners!
I’d much rather my referral partners send me someone slightly unqualified than hesitate to refer at all.
I want to ALWAYS be top of mind for them.
ALSO: this only counts direct referrals. Often my referral partners are, as a group, tagging me in communities when someone is looking for a Systems Strategist!
⬇️ Entreprenista.
I will tell anyone that I have mixed feelings about this community.
Some of my favorite clients and biz besties came from this community.
But it also comes with a lot of coffee chats and sales calls that aren’t a good fit.
So I'll keep spending my time there - I just need to be more intentional with HOW.
What am I doing in 2026?
👏I’m prioritizing nurturing existing relationships over chasing new ones. (Enter: my Automated Relationship Database)
👏And I’m continuing to lean into my communities that consistently bring me aligned, ready leads and support.
👉 And this isn't on the list, but I really want to lean into writing more and better emails to GROW my email list!
