One of the perks of knowing me? You never have to guess how I feel. I believe in clear and immediate communication, even when itโ€™s uncomfortable.

I recently tried to sign up for a service I knew would be valuable to me, but I immediately hit a roadblock while trying to pay.

(I am legit shocked by how many people make it difficult for me to give them my money. Y'all don't like money? Y'all rich already????)

I almost just walked away, but I decided to tell her how I felt instead (CLASSIC ME!)

I expressed my concern about the complicated payment process, explaining that if this part was challenging, I wondered about the rest of the client experience.

Would onboarding be just as complicated? Would receiving materials require frustrating back-and-forth exchanges?

I told her, โ€œI want to feel excited about working with you again, but right now, I'm worried that the value of your content might be overshadowed by ongoing process challenges.โ€

She handled the feedback with grace a pizazz, and I'm happy to report I ended up hiring her and I got so much out of it.
