The problem with Monday.com

I have a theory about Monday.com 😎

For years it felt like I saw them everywhere I went: Billboards, sponsored on Google searches, YouTube commercials, ETC.

But ya know where I never saw Monday.com?

Being used by my clients or talked about in my communities.

At best, I would hear about it on a coffee chat. Someone would say they set it up but no one is really using it, OR it feels glitchy.

Most of the tech experts / builders like myself that I know won't touch it with a 10-foot pole.

So how is this tool so everywhere and yet nowhere?

My theory is that Monday.com spent all of their money on sales and advertising, and then totally forgot about product development.

(Do I have any other real information to back this up? Of course not! It's just vibes! Just go with it for a sec, I'm making a bigger point!)

Sales is obviously crucial to our business. Even if someone has the money, I can't even work with them if they don't have enough incoming sales to prove their offer is repeatable enough to build systems around.

(and if they are stuck in a phase of trying to fix their sales, I send them to my sales coach, Justine!)

But once you get the ball rolling, a fantastic product is the best sales tactic.

Our life is oversaturated and overstimulated by how often we are being sold to.

Advertisements and promos are the wallpaper of our world, on and off the computer.

And yet, every single person I've ever interviewed about their buying habits (past clients or during market research) all say the exact same thing when I ask them about how they choose who to hire:

Word of mouth.

They ask around!

SO! If you are a quickly growing Agency, taking on more and more clients and growing a team to match, you've probably figured out a thing or two about sales.

Now you need Systems to match your growth.

The last thing you want is an incredible sales system that doesn't match delivery.

Nothing breaks trust quicker than unmet expectations.

Your client said yes because of what you promised on the sales call. Every handoff after that either backs up that promise or chips away at it.

That's my whole Monday.com theory, vibes and all. The ads got people in the door, and then the product never gave anyone a reason to talk about it.

Don't be the Monday.com of agencies.

This is the work I do - I build your agency's central hub, one place where all your client work lives: sales, onboarding, delivery and offboarding. Then I train your team on it and stay through integration so it actually sticks.

So your team can take on more clients without every question routing back through you.

If your sales are rolling and your team is growing faster than your systems, apply to work with me TODAY.
